Some older musical instruments are prized for a quality not found in newer models. Founded in 1906, E.K. Blessing Co. was known for quality brass instruments. The Super Artist model was their best professional model. They featured a rich tone, a one-piece hand hammered bell with steel bell bead, and excellent responsive valves in 2 piece valve casings. Valve caps are inlaid with expensive mother of pearl, not cheap plastic. New professional grade trumpets cost $3,500 on up. The Super Artist trumpets are still in great demand by professionals. This one is actually better than new with terrific valves, a super tone, and great construction. It was recently overhauled and brilliantly silver plated with gold plating inside the bell. In over 60 years of playing and teaching, I have never seen a more beautiful horn. It is perfect with no dents, scratches, or nicks. Price includes case and mouthpiece.
