Do you need an easy grab & go amp that delivers quintessential raw blues tone? This 1 X 12” amp running 2 X 6V6 power tubes is the perfect solution. Loud enough, but not too loud to wind up on a club stage. I got a lot of comments on the great tone when I used to take it out - it made me sound better than I had a right to! It’s also great for recording. I used it on a Buffalo Nichols session and on a Billy Flynn session.

I like this amp so much that I have two! I'm keeping the other one, which is beat-up and funky, and selling this rather pristine specimen, as I no longer need a backup.

Made by Valco, she’s got old American tubes (Two 6V6 power tubes, 5Y3 rectifier, and 6SL7 & 6SN7 preamp tubes. The speaker is a classic 60’s Special Design made by Jensen for Fender (as used in Deluxe Reverbs and more).

Two channels, tone and “Quality“ (presence) controls. It’s got huge knobs and the biggest red pilot lamp ever.

I has been serviced and functions perfectly! Valco made amps for Supro, Gretsch and many others during this era. This is the best one I’ve heard. You’re not going to need your old Blues Jr., or ratty old vintage amp that has the look but not the tone anymore!
