Pair of Klipsch Jubilee DIY prototype builds $1,700 cash. No trades. For those who know and looking for excellent live sounding stereo speakers (and they are large 44 x 25 x 33). This pair of DIY Klipsch Jubilee type speakers are made in 3/4" birch, with Klipsch K33 15" woofers having the folded horn ramp rates scaled for the 15s. Mids are Klipsch K400 fiberglass midrange horns driven by a JBL Selenium D-250 X driver, Eminence crossovers or recapped and updated Klipsch Type AA, and Fostex 3x7 tweeter horn. They are rear ported to 32 hz. to extend the low frequencies and work excellent in a corner or along a wall. They outperform Klipschorns and are similar design to the Paul W Klipsch Jubilee folded horn. These are prototypes and work very well with low or high power amps. For about 10% of new K-horns, and half or less that the occasional pair on E-bay or elsewhere.
