A local limousine company seeks a Dispatcher with at least 1 year of experience dispatching in a fast pace environment, preferably in the transportation industry. All duties are to be performed in accordance with company policies, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

Ensures customer/client satisfaction through superior customer interaction from the reservation through the closing out of the trip
Promotes safety, security and sensitivity throughout the organization.
Assigns vehicles (in company rotation) to Chauffeur and instruct the Chauffeurs of each itinerary.
If on the night shift, look at notes and check all reservations for the next day.
Notify appropriate people if the Chauffeur will be late. Constantly monitor the traffic situation.
Monitor and update dispatch board for any changes and possible difficulties.
Ensure Affiliates are informed of any changes or vehicle up-grade.
If reservations is busy or on the overnight shift take new reservation and/or issue quotes.
Report any changes in the reservation to affiliates/bookers especially if an up-charge is involved.
Report any deviations to affiliates, booking personnel and management.
When assigning drivers ensure all receive their fair share of the work base on their ranking, document drivers who refuse work.
Update detailed information regarding Driver, reservation and vehicle problems.
Ensure Chauffeurs are completing their Pre/Post inspections.
When instructed, supervise the detail crew. If required, run the sedans/SUV through the car wash.
Inspect all vehicles (inside and out) when they return to base to ensure the vehicles are filled up and cleaned.
Conduct Vehicle inspections as well as the on-line Driver logs.
Report all vehicle issues as they come up from the inspection, complete paperwork if required.
Ensue the oil change list is updated.
Verify the Gas/Key checklist ensure all are account for.
Prepares Reports as requested by Management, including the daily report.
On a periodic basis will review the ‘condition’ of company vehicles to ensure the are being kept in a condition as set by management.
Work with management and utilize the Standby to Drop/Pickup vehicle or other tasks.
Report all Disable & Accidents in a separate e-mail to Management. If passenger is involved contact Management ASAP
Continuously look at reservations and have the next five (5) days scheduled.
Update and note drivers schedule daily.

Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Must be flexible
Ability to provide great customer service and establish a good working relationship with co-workers, subordinates, customers, and vendors.
He/she must have a high degree of moral and personal integrity, a sound work ethic and honesty should be unquestioned.
Must possess good time management skills.
Shows interest in the job and success of the company.
Must exemplify professionalism in personal appearance, manner and dress, in accordance with company standards.
Willingness to do other assigned duties as needed and requested by supervisor.


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 1-3 years related experience preferred
Software/Hardware: An understanding of MS Office Applications and web-based limousine dispatch software
