The 2009 Big Easy International Film Festival, scheduled for November 12-15, 2009, is currently seeking volunteers for the opening night party and during the three-day event at the Theatres at Canal Place (333 Canal Street). Tasks will include registering party guests, distributing badges, selling tickets and passes, setting up sponsor/filmmaker tables, taking tickets at the theater, handing out programs, and collecting audience ballots.
We are also looking for photographers for the event.
Beverages and snacks will be provided, and all volunteers will have the opportunity to watch some remarkable short and feature-length films and, in many cases, meet the filmmakers, too.
