This is for one of our smaller hotel rooms and covers your lodging for a week with DIY upkeep of the room. Included items would be 1 king size bed, dresser, desk, counter-height refrigerator, microwave, and about 70 channels of cable. Extras for a variety of services ($5-$15/week) can be added such as daily towel swapping, full housekeeping service, wi-fi internet, local calls, long distance calls, mail service, grocery service, etc. Shuttle services will not be available until late this year. Rooms with 2 beds will be $50/week extra and extra large rooms are available for $100/week extra. <br>

We maintain a clean, safe, and quiet property. Guests that put that into jeopardy with illegal activities, a high volume of undesirable traffic, excessive noise, unsupervised minors/teenagers, or just plain, old, mean, nastiness will be asked to leave promptly without rent or deposit refunds. Otherwise, the place is a pretty casual set-up in the Fat City area of Metairie, right by Lakeside Mall. The address is included below, and anyone interested is more than welcome to stop by and walk the premises and talk to any guests that might be out and about. Dining room seats six. 2 bedrooms available (king in master & queen in guest room). Living room has a large sectional sofa. Linens & towels are provided. All you need is clothes and toiletries. There is a monitored security system and Garden District Patrol has a base just outside the front door, available to residents 24/7 by phone. My roommate (30 y/o law student, staying through December) has his own living room, kitchen and bedroom at the other end of the house (not available through Dec., shown on the bottom, right portion of the floorplan) and is separated from the private, available space by 2 fire doors. The bathroom & laundry are shared.

Extras for a variety of services ($5-$15/week) can be added such as daily towel swapping, full housekeeping service, wi-fi internet, local calls, long distance calls, mail service, grocery service, etc. Shuttle services will not be available until late this year. Rooms with 2 beds will be $50/week extra and extra large rooms are available for $100/week extra. <br>

We maintain a clean, safe, and quiet property. Guests that put that into jeopardy with illegal activities, a high volume of undesirable traffic, excessive noise, unsupervised minors/teenagers, or just plain, old, mean, nastiness will be asked to leave promptly without rent or deposit refunds. Otherwise, the place is a pretty casual set-up in the Fat City area of Metairie, right by Lakeside Mall. The address is included below, and anyone interested is more than welcome to stop by and walk the premises and talk to any guests that might be out and about. The house (it's actually part of a fourplex) has most of the standard desirable amenities; central air/heat, off street parking, washer/dryer, porch (with swing!), hardwood floors, tall ceilings and ceiling fans, etc.  We are blocks from the St. Charles streetcar line.  The neighborhood is very safe, and all the neighbors are very friendly!<br>
<br>
The rent is $400 month + $400 refundable deposit when you move out, plus utilities, which usually come out to an additional $50-$80 a month, and which includes basic cable and internet.<br>
<br>
About the room: it's about 10 x 10, which fits a full or queen sized bed and dresser and nightstand okay.  The closet is big, and the window is fairly large.  It is unfurnished.<br>
<br>
About us: one of us is a grad student at Tulane, and the other is a young professional.  Neither of us smoke, but we are both the type of people who like to kick back on the porch with a couple beers a couple nights a week.  There are also 2 kitties who live here as well.<br>

Main living area of apartment has floor to ceiling windows that provide natural light and face the sunset. The private bedroom is at the back of the house and is approximately 14x14 feet with a large closet adjoined. The room has 3 large windows and a ceiling fan. Renter will share a bathroom with one female. The apartment is 8 blocks from the St. Charles trolly and thus in a prime Mardi Gras locations. <br>
<br>
Two current tenants are a 20-something professional and grad student. There is one pet (dog) in the unit, but no other pets will be allowed, as it is restricted by landlord. Our current 3rd roommate has to leave to due a job offer in another city, but would not be moving from unit otherwise. We are requesting that interested persons be clean, laid back,non-smoking/drugs, and willing to share household chores on a regular basis. We also require roommates to be respectful of others and keep noise to a minimum especially during late hours. For this reason, we prefer a roommate who is a professional or grad student. The rent is paid through December and we are looking for someone to move in any time after Nov 19th. <br>

Beautiful historic brick walls have been sealed.  Plenty of storage.

Extras for a variety of services ($5-$15/week) can be added such as daily towel swapping, full housekeeping service, wi-fi internet, local calls, long distance calls, mail service, grocery service, etc. Shuttle services will not be available until late this year. Rooms with 2 beds will be $50/week extra and extra large rooms are available for $100/week extra. <br>

We maintain a clean, safe, and quiet property. Guests that put that into jeopardy with illegal activities, a high volume of undesirable traffic, excessive noise, unsupervised minors/teenagers, or just plain, old, mean, nastiness will be asked to leave promptly without rent or deposit refunds. Otherwise, the place is a pretty casual set-up in the Fat City area of Metairie, right by Lakeside Mall. The address is included below, and anyone interested is more than welcome to stop by and walk the premises and talk to any guests that might be out and about. We maintain a clean, safe, and quiet property. Guests that put that into jeopardy with illegal activities, a high volume of undesirable traffic, excessive noise, unsupervised minors/teenagers, or just plain, old, mean, nastiness will be asked to leave promptly without rent or deposit refunds. Otherwise, the place is a pretty casual set-up in the Fat City area of Metairie, right by Lakeside Mall. I'm a friendly easy going 49 year old male college professor who is returning to school and looking to lower my housing costs. I am easy going, good at making people comfortable, have lived in Europe and hosted many visitors in the past while living in NYC as well as New Orleans. If you are okay with using an air-mattress in my living room, you'll have a nice place in the Garden District to use, pay a minimal amount and have use of the kitchen, bathroom, washer/dryer, and pool in the summer. The apartment is comfortable but small. I charge $25 per night or $150 for a week. A video is available of the apartment on-line upon request. I usually respond within one day to requests! <br>

I'll supply towels, and bed linens, and you will have use of my bathrooms and kitchen. My home is large, so there is plenty of space for privacy to watch tv or use your laptop (wifi network at my house)...but after a day at Voodoo and a night out you'll probably only want to relax, shower, and sleep. I'm on the streetcar line so you'll be in a prime spot to get to the Quarter quickly, too.<br>

Our apt. is fully furnished and we even have cable tv and internet. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, dresser, and tv. We also have a twin inflatable if you need an extra bed. <br>

Extras for a variety of services ($5-$15/week) can be added such as daily towel swapping, full housekeeping service, wi-fi internet, local calls, long distance calls, mail service, grocery service, etc. Shuttle services will not be available until late this year. Rooms with 2 beds will be $50/week extra and extra large rooms are available for $100/week extra. <br>

We maintain a clean, safe, and quiet property. Guests that put that into jeopardy with illegal activities, a high volume of undesirable traffic, excessive noise, unsupervised minors/teenagers, or just plain, old, mean, nastiness will be asked to leave promptly without rent or deposit refunds. Otherwise, the place is a pretty casual set-up in the Fat City area of Metairie, right by Lakeside Mall. The address is included below, and anyone interested is more than welcome to stop by and walk the premises and talk to any guests that might be out and about.
