The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath, 2,000 square foot house on St Charles Ave, between First St. and Philip. Right on the parade route... Everything but your room is furnished, however, if you have something better than what is already in the furnished rooms, we are more than open to using it.
The 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. Your room is carpeted, has a large closet, and you share a bathroom that can only be accessed through two of the bedrooms, meaning you and a roommate share it and guests don't use it without your permission.

We are both young professionals in our mid twenties; one roommate runs a movie production company, the other roommate works for a bank in the area. We are very laid back and keep the place clean. Ideally we'd like someone with the same interests as ourselves. You hardly ever find either one of us home, as we are usually involved in some sort of social/for-fun league or other various organizations. Male or female doesn't matter, the roommate who moved out was female and everything was great.

Rent is $665 plus bills, bills average about $75 - $125 each, per month. We have wireless Internet and DVR. The lease is a year lease starting December 1, but you could get in November 15th... possibly sooner if you need to get in somewhere quick.

I'd say no pets as a preference, but if you are a good fit and you have a cat that doesn't tear stuff up, we'd consider it.

The rent is monthly. Awesome value. We're two Americorps members/ recently graduated guys and our third roommate will be heading north in February. The house is compact but not cramped - its a great space. Mostly family neighborhood. Wood floors, gas stove, balcony, furnished, one bathroom, backyard, storage shed, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cable/wireless internet, a/c, heat, balcony... Utilities are not included in the rent - cable & internet: 32, energy: 30-40, water: 10-15. We aren't too dirty or too clean - the house is somewhere on the spectrum of kind of dirty to kind of clean at any given moment. No preference for guy/girl. We do have a dog, and a hooka is going about once a day. The dog is owned by one roommate but the other two roommates do to help out from time to time. We probably shouldn't take another pet, but we can talk about it if need be.

Hi all.

We have a room opening up in our house soon. Two roommates (29 M, 25F) and a bengal kitten (3 mo) are the current residents. It is a nice room with light from 2 sides. Shared bathroom, hardwood floors, fully equipped kitchen, bike nook, fenced in back yard. It's a two story split house, bottom floor is a shotgun, but 2nd floor where bedrooms and bath are is NOT a shotgun.

It's a nice house in a decent neighborhood and we are a block from the street car and about 12 blocks from Tulane. The room will be available as of December and lease runs to at least the end of May and may be extended. Rent is 450 and damage (and disappearance) deposit of 450 due along first month's rent.

No smoking and no drugs in the house. Who ever moves in must be a decent human who is respectful of space and stuff, but a who is a decent roomie. We are former grad students, so we understand the student lifestyle. We speak a few languages and are very good with international roomies.
