If you are an experienced bench jeweler I'm pretty sure we can't pay you what you are worth as much as I would like to have you, at least in the short term, although maybe we can handle some piece work or subcontracting if you have your own workspace and tools.

Some of you may have seen this same ad at the beginning of summer. Please reapply even if you did not hear from me then. I accidently deleted a lot of good responses but our summer help is now back to school and we are ready to create a replacement.

If you live in New Orleans proper, our studio is way out in the boonies so gasoline costs may make it less valuable to you.

Our Frenchmen St. shop is currently open from 12pm-3am daily, we’ve always done very well late-nite with the tourists. We expect that even more tourists will find their way to us at this location, which is on the streetcar line, next to Lucky's 24 hr. bar, so the shop's hours will likely be much later. You would be required to make a schedule, totaling 50 hours a week. You may choose 6 days a week for 8hrs 20mins/day , or 5 days a week for 10 hrs/day.

You must have a portfolio to display to customers, but to get the position we will need to see you physically do a tattoo in the shop. We like to keep our shop clean, professional and clutter-free so please only bring the equipment you need (leave the kitchen sink at home). We do supply ‘Bounty’, but all else is at your expense.
