A 12-week Artist's Way workshop, based on Julia Cameron's bestselling book, will begin February 2010. (The time and day will be determined according to the needs of potential participants.)

This lively, fun, hands-on and interactive workshop will again be facilitated by award-winning writer and blogger Kathy Price-Robinson, who has used The Artist's Way principles in her life and work for 15 years.

Here is the schedule of topics, which will be explored with a series of art projects and written exercises and then shared in a supportive group setting:

Week 1: Recovering a Sense of Safety

Week 2: Recovering a Sense of Identity

Week 3: Recovering a Sense of Power

Week 4: Recovering a Sense of Integrity

Week 5: Recovering a Sense of Possibility

Week 6: Recovering a Sense of Abundance

Week 7: Recovering a Sense of Connection

Week 8: Recovering a Sense of Strength

Week 9: Recovering a Sense of Compassion

Week 10: Recovering a Sense of Self-Protection

Week 11: Recovering a Sense of Autonomy

Week 12: Recovering a Sense of Faith

In between weekly sessions, participants are to keep a daily personal journal (known as "morning pages") and do one enriching experience (known as an "artist's date"). Both of these activities will be fully explained at the first session. At the end of the 12 weeks, you can expect to find your life more satisfying and yourself more engaged in it. The class is not just for artists, but for parents, engineers, attorneys, retired folks, homemakers, teachers, musicians, writers, house painters, carpenters, clerks, and so on. Tapping into one's own creative powers is good for all of us.
